ABI Concussion Services
ABI Rehabilitation provides expert Concussion Services. We have an experienced and skilled team of clinicians who can see children and adults aged from birth throughout adulthood. Our team has a wealth of experience in working with children, whānau and adults following concussion or traumatic brain injury.
The team assists and advises with a return to work school, sport and all activities that are important to the client, as soon as possible.
ABI can receive direct referrals from GP’s, Accident and Medical (A&M’s) and DHBs. You are able to directly refer your patients to us.
The ABI Concussion Services team includes the following clinicians:
- Occupational Therapists
- Neuro-physiotherapists
- Rehabilitation Medicine Physicians
- Paediatrician/Paediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Physician
- Neuropsychologists
- Psychologists
- Speech and Language Therapists
- Other rehabilitation clinicians who maybe required
NB: for child and youth clients we do have a specialist paediatric Concussion team made up of the same rehabilitation disciplines as above, but clinicians who have chosen to specialise in working with children, concussion and brain injury.
