Celebrating our Cleaners and Chefs
Wednesday this week was both Thank your Cleaners and International Chef’s Day so a great opportunity for us to celebrate incredibly important members of the ABI team.
Cleaners are vital in our organisation and we thank our team in Auckland and Wellington that keep our ABI sites clean, hygienic and freshly laundered always with a smile on their faces. Their role has become even more valuable to us during these COVID times, with infection control regimes a part of everyday life. Thank you Rita and team in Auckland, Kyra and Tash in Wellington and to the cleaners in our community offices.
Our chefs are responsible for healthy, creative and nutritious meals across the Intensive Inpatient and Residential Disability sites, catering for special diets for clients. Navin in Auckland and Jason in Wellington strongly contribute to staff wellbeing and morale by preparing a twice weekly morning or afternoon tea for the busy teams at the Intensive sites. This offerings of kai have proven to be very popular among staff members who always find time in their busy schedules to refuel at these times. Thank you Navin and Jason for the delicious kai.
There is no ABI without these teams and while we are grateful for them every day, today we take the opportunity to celebrate them and let them know how much they are valued and appreciated.
Join is in saying thank you to our incredible team, we truly appreciate your service and contributions to our ABI team across all our sites.
